In Science we have been studying landforms and learning about volcanoes. The students created a volcano as a project. As you can see by the pictures, each volcano was different and unique. The students erupted their volcano using baking soda and vinegar.

Miss Steinmetz's last day is April 24th. We will really miss having her as our student teacher. She has been an awesome addition to our classroom. Here is a silly picture we took with her recently.
SUPER HERO
It was super exciting to have a real life superhero visit our classroom! Reese's dad, Mr. Garnica, visited our classroom in late April. Mr. Garnica is a fire fighter. It was really neat to see him in his uniform and see all of the gear he has to wear. He even demonstrated how to crawl on the floor to escape a fire. He had a contest with one of our students, Brian Phillips, to see who could put their uniform on the fastest!! It was a very close race. THANK YOU Mr. Garnica for coming to our class for a visit!!!
Thank you to my silly class for making my birthday very, very special. It was a lot of fun celebrating with such a great group of kids!!!!
